- Gwen Stefani celebrated her 39th birthday with a star-studded bash at her Hollywood Hills home last Friday. More than 100 guests showed up to the party hosted by her rocker husband, Gavin Rossdale.
- 3 Doors Down guitarist Chris Henderson has opened a new recording studio with partner and 38 Special member Bobby Capps. The facility is called Rivergate Studios and is located in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
- Anne Hathaway has joined the cast of Tim Burton's upcoming Alice in Wonderland remake. Hathaway, who currently stars in Rachel Getting Married, will play the White Queen. She'll star opposite Burton's wife and frequent collaborator who will portray the Red Queen.
- There are rumors of Sarah Palin possibly making an appearance on Saturday Night Live to spoof Tina Fey's American Express commercials and may appear on a "Weekend Update" prime time special. A rep for the show said that "Although Saturday Night Live, like many other shows, doesn't comment specifically on bookings, there are always talks with the candidate's camps."
