- Kid Rock has granted the Rhapsody music service a four-month exclusive deal to make his catalog available for download, ending the singer's holdout on digital music sales. According to Billboard.com, Rock's catalog went on sale Friday.
- Emmy- and SAG-winning 30 Rock star Tina Fey has signed a book deal. Two unnamed publishing officials say Little, Brown and Company will release a book of humorous essays by the 38-year-old Fey, whose writing credits include 30 Rock, Saturday Night Live and the feature film Mean Girls.
- NBC has given the Ryan Seacrest-produced reality dating show Momma's Boys a home. The show will inherit the 9 p.m. Wednesday timeslot vacated by America's Got Talent for a six-week run beginning October 29th. Momma's Boys features 32 women who'll try to win the heart of three bachelors who keep their moms closely involved. NBC has already begun casting for a second season.
