- Miley Cyrus is trying to get the word out about environment in a new five minute video posted on YouTube. In the clip, she's seen with her best pal, Mandy, offering some tips on how to go green. Here's the video:
- The Verve plans to stay together beyond the release of its upcoming album, Forth, which marks the British group's first new effort in 11 years. Forth is due out next Tuesday.
- Texas native Jessica Simpson has signed a deal to promote an in-state beer. The singer/actress is the new pitchwoman for Stampede Light Plus, made by Dallas' Stampede Brewing Company. She will receive a 15 percent stake in the brewery as part of the deal.
- Ellen DeGeneres plan to share some photos of her weekend wedding to Portia de Rossi, but fans will have to tune in for her syndicated talk show's season opener. Season 6 starts on September 8th.
