  1. Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher was attacked onstage by a male assailant during the band's set at the Virgin Festival in Toronto on Sunday night. Video footage posted on YouTube showed that the band was about a minute into a song when the man emerged from stage right and shoved Gallagher into his monitor. The man then attempted to move toward singer Liam Gallagher but was tackled by security.
  2. Natasha Bedingfield got engaged to her boyfriend of two years, businessman Matt Robinson, over the weekend. She says they haven't even thought about a wedding date yet.
  3. My Chemical Romance bassist Mikey Way has been tapped by DC Comics to write an eight-page comic book story for one of their Halloween titles. There's no word on what the storyline will be or what DC characters will be involved, although there are rumors that it could involve Batman.
  4. Award winning actress Julie Andrews has joined Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Ashley Judd in the family comedy Tooth Fairy, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Johnson plays a minor league hockey player known as the Tooth Fairy for his ability to knock out opposing players' teeth. When he discourages a youngster, he's ordered to spend one week as a real tooth fairy, complete with wings, magic wand and tutu. Andrews plays a high-ranking, supervisor with the Tooth Fairy Department assigned to oversee his punishment. Judd plays the hockey pro's girlfriend.
